  I recently used Shell V-Power in my 2005 MINI Cooper S and 2007 BMW 320d to see if it gave better fuel consumption over 'cooking' petrol/diesel. Total mileage of test approx 3,000. Result: no meaninful - if any - improvement. Conclusion (for me and my cars): premium fuel = waste of money. Of late

  I have just picked up my S reg Astra from the garage after requiring 4 new tyres to pass the MOT. The garage have replaced the original Conti's with some brand called "Cheng Shan". While they were considerably cheaper than a premium brand, i wonder if this is a big trade off with quality

  are budget (made in Poland) and are at the recommended 32psi front and 28 rear. The rear n/s wheel bearing has been replaced to no effect. Could it be the CVT joints? Tyres? or even the non-standard plastic wheel covers? All thoughts welcome Regards Brian
