  a fortune when they  go wrong. I always liked the Vauxhall carlton when I was younger and it reminds me of the one my dad had when I was a young boy.  Am I being sentimental or is it wise to buy such a car for running to work ect? Are parts still easy to get?

  hi, I am experiencing very rough runs at lower speeds.  Hesitates to accelerate / change gear . Consumes a lot more fuel than earlier. There is a terrible smell from the exhaust gases which is now very bad. At higher speeds say 50km/hr up and higher revs 2000+rpms up

  My 1.1 cfi (60K) starts ok runs ok but after approx 12 miles of running it just loses power completely and stops. After 2 minutes it starts again ok but the same thing will happen after another 12 miles or so. It appears to be more prone on a continious run rather than stop start motoring
