  mounts have been replaced Battery failed at 20k miles Serpantine belt and tensioner replaced Rear brake calipers locking on Hand brake cable failure Front and rear disks needing replacing after less than 30K (seems a bit soon!) Clutch failure clutch hydraulics failure Ingition barrell collapse

  hi, bought a skoda fabia 1.4 comfort in august 2003. 51 reg, 12000 on the clock. after about 2 months the power steering failed. blamed ona faulty sensor, and fixed under warranty. after 3 months we found that after standing overnight the rear brakes bind, break free when reversing off

  confused as had been topped up in the last month, and definately wasy beyond it's normal consumption. Also have no reason to suspect a leak. However, left the car for 20 mins anf topped up with Oil. Turned over and all was fine, no more smoke, temp fine, quite happy. Except, now the brake fluid

  My Kangoo central locking has taken to cycling off and on in spaits even with ignition off and key out, it used only to do this when i was driving and applied the brakes. would anyone help me to locate a likely offending component to replace.? thanks, Mike.

  There are loads of fancy tail lights around, led clusters and indicators that sort of creep along. My car has led indicators and they started playing up...£300 sir...luckily they are behaving at the moment. Saw a Mercedes this morning with blinding tail and brake led style arrangements

  Can anyone help me. My wife's 207 as just started to have a mind of its own. The wipers and head lights are always on although they are turned off. The heater don't work. Oil light on and it's got a brake fault on the dash. Any ideas thanks in advance.

  the auto headlights on this model are way to sensitive coming on when no normal driver would put them on they can not be turned off only when the hand brake is applied .can this annoying feature be turned off by going into the  cars electronics . best regards phil
• Ford Mondeo Estate - Airbag warning light 10 Nov 2015 (Forum)
  The airbag warning light on the dashboard has come on and stays on. I am aware that this is cause for the car to fail the MOT. There has been no reason for this light to come on, no sudden braking etc. (It has done 160,000 miles on a 60 plate). Can anybody advise?

   I bought a 1 series bmw  diesel back in may, my 1 concern is the terrible tramlining it suffers on many of the b roads i travel on sometimes under braking even vearing of line if the surface is uneven aswell , it runs on 225-45 17S is this a common occurence and is there any cure ?

  Noticed over the last couple of weeks that my 1996 Peugeot 406 1.9TD executive, when coasting downhill that the engine management light comes on. As soon as i touch the brakes or accelerator the light goes out. Had no problems with the engine, no strange noises and pulls fine. Any ideas?

  Hi, i have an automatic vectra and everytime i start my engine, the 'CHECK' light on the lcd display comes on. When i press on the brake/clutch pedal it goes out?! Can anyone tell me if this is right or not. The car drives fine and have no problems otherwise. Thankyou

  The 2001 Audi A4 is a clever car it tells on the display(spanner icon) the time/miles to its next service. But how does it know when oil, filters, brake fluid etc., have been changed? And what does it mean when the display shows 'dashes' for time and miles not any figures? Brian
