  Drove over a bump and ignition light came on, radio stopped working ,mirrors don't work. Ignition light doesn't go out. Battery voltage is 13 volts, start engine and it shows 15 volts. Seems healthy. Fuse number 21 (10 amp) was blown. Replaced but no cure. Don't actually know what this fuse does

  the alternator on my ford ka doesnt seem to be charging. i put a multi meter across the battery when the engine was running and it read 11.82 as it did when the car wasnt running. is this just a straight forward alternator swap or could it be something else. i dont want to take the part off

  nor my ipod will charge from these devices. I suspect that these devices require a fairly precise voltage that the car battery and step down transformer is unable to match. Has anyone else tried these devices and had more luck than me?
