A bit of a long-shot this......I'm off on another visit to China in a couple of months and will be spending a few days in Hong Kong. I'd like to buy one or two of those fancy 'double DIN' DVD/CD/radio units with the motorised screen. Anyone know of a good in-car audio shop in HK (Central, Kowloon -
Bluetooth hands free 7 Dec 2006 (Forum)
I've done a forum search (but not too far back, as the technology is no doubt changing) but do any of you have experience of a decent bluetooth hands free kit? I'm not looking for the silly earpiece; I'm looking for a proper hands-free kit. If there's one out there that will mute my radio, etc -

New Volvo S40/V50 - poor reliability? 22 Jan 2006 (Forum)
HJ gave this a great review, and I'm very keen on buying one. But trawling around other motoring websites and consumer reports (both UK and US) shows a lot of owners complaining of electrical niggles. Flat batteries, radio not working, all sorts of warning lights coming on - sounds like the car -
Nissan Primera P10 bulb replacement 24 Mar 2005 (Forum)
I am replacing a headlamp bulb on my 96 Primera. Mr Hayne's manual advises me to disconnect the negative battery lead before proceeding. Two questions. One What am I risking if I don't disconnect the battery lead? Two. Will I need to input the radio security code if I do disconnect. The code -

A74 24 Hour Closure 23 Dec 2004 (Forum)
Are we deliberatly keeping away from this (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cumbria/4119961.stm ) story, lest it becomes another police bashing thread? I honestly don't believe all the people phoning into radio programs and news stations to say that there were no warnings of the closure -

4x4's to be banned in.....Paris 15 Jun 2004 (Forum)
Yep, apparently it's true according to a radio news programme I heard this afternoon with a Labour MP - Paul Flynn ? - 4x4's will soon be banned from Paris! Given Red Ken's recent comments about 4x4's, I think if he gets re-elected there's a good chance he'll try the same tactic in London -
A basic (perhaps even stupid) question 3 Nov 2003 (Forum)
I know that shrugged shoulders of despair will result, but please sympathize and indulge me by answering these questions: Can the battery on my Saab 9.3 Tid be charged (with a mains operated battery charger) in situ whilst still connected to the electrics ? Apart from the radio code, do I need -
Car Speed Limited by GPS 3 Jun 2003 (Forum)
Did anyone else just hear the article on Radio 1's Newsbeat (12:55)? Was about a car that uses GPS positioning with a database of speed limits, to limit the speed of a car. The reporter was in a 30 zone in Leeds and put his foot to the floor and the car wouldn't go above 30! He said that you can -

I have a 98 306D. Over the last few weeks I have had the following problems. The horn is not working properly, emits a feeble squeak. The water washers have stopped working and the radio only works on the stalk which means I can search through for channels and change volume. I would like -
Yankee doodle dandy 7 Apr 2002 (Forum)
Just got back from the US and suffered a chevy cavalier - can anyone confirm this is actually a rebadged neon? Anyway, it was 2.2 litres and absolutely dire!! Noisy, slow, couldn't hear the radio for wind noise and it only had 13k on the clock. I'm sure there are some good cars in the US but when -
Golf PD 150 - why? 27 Mar 2002 (Forum)
Ok so this is a reasonable car. But it is still VERY noisy and it still vibrates a LOT. And it costs almost 20k in 5 door guise with metallic, climate, and a decent radio/CD added. Golf build quality isn't streets ahead of the pack anymore. Lots of middleweights handle better and have more space -
"Congestion" Charging 28 Feb 2002 (Forum)
All day they have discussing this subject on radio 2, apparently the Govt wants to fit every vehicle with a Black box so that its movements can be tracked ( by satellite ) and you will recieve an invoice every month related to the amount of time you have been sitting in a traffic jam ? ? ? I can
