  • Citroen C3 Picasso - Heater panel bulb replacement 10 Nov 2019 (Forum)
A bulb behind the heater panel has blown. It's a very, very minor inconvenience but irritating nonetheless. As I have to remove the radio (and probably half the car) to get to it, it's job I intend to do only once. Does anyone know which bulbs I need so that I don't have to decimate the car

Hi, The digits are scrambled on the display unit for the radio after I took it to be cleaned by a car wash company. They aren't going to pay up so I'm looking at getting this replaced. My question is whether I need an exact part number to replace this? If so, how do i get in there to read

The front speakers of my A4 cut out intermittantly. Increasing the volume can help on occasions. And to add to the pain the radio will suddenly lose the signal only to return when it is switched off and on. Understand the wiring could be at fault and needs checking in the door area

  • how many marques have disappeared? 20 Dec 2009 (Forum)
I remeber hearing on the radio 'If you see an Armstrong Siddely...salute' is Siddely spelt correctly? Made me think how many makes have gone in my time. We are heading for a market dominated by the big boys but that is how the world seems to be going. Austin, Morris, Simca, Rover, all gone. Must
  • iPod adapter for 3 Series BMW 12 Dec 2009 (Forum)
My daughter and s/i/l have just bought a 06 plate 3 series. Although it has a CD player, I'd like to buy them an iPod adapter for Xmas. Anyone know if there is a reasonably priced and reasonably easy one to fit (aftermarket or whatever)? I don't mean the radio frequency type, but one that plugs

  • Skoda Superb (2008 - ) - Skoda makes headline news 9 Apr 2009 (Forum)
BBC Radio 4 included this in their headline news at mid-day today: http://tinyurl.com/crzhhe One wonders about the BBC's priorities and how well informed they are, as I suspect it was intended to tag along with the long-outdated "Skodas are rubbish" myth. Which car made in Britain could have
  • Quick Whip Round 2 Dec 2008 (Forum)
A tenner should do it - just to buy the highways people in Manchester a cheap radio so when the BBC issues a weather warning of heavy snow overnight, they think about sending out gritters. The two motorways and several A-roads I was on at 6.00 till 7.00 this morning were simply lethal

  • Yes M'Lady - Parker on your Sat-Nav 7 Dec 2007 (Forum)
Caught a few seconds of interview, on Local Radio today, the guy who was Thunderbirds character voices of Brains & Gordon & ....PARKER. Said he was possibly going to do Lady Penelope's right hand man, as a sat-nav voice option! Not sure if he was just 'touting' the idea, or it's going to happen

Today's radio news says plans are on way to allow hard shoulder as a driving lane on some of the motorways (eg. M1, M6, M42 etc.). However, many wonder where do you stop then for emergency! By the way, we already use a good part of M1 hard shoulder between J6 & J10. Usually these areas
