Astra gearbox oil 1 Jul 2003 (Forum)
I have a astra 94 1.4i, sometimes ago i changed the oil and filter, when asked if the gearbox oil needs topping up, i was told it that the gearbox is sealed and no oil needs changing. Are astra`s gearboxes the sealed type like batteries?? The car sometimes is balky when changing do you think -

I splashed out, ho ho, on a Kranzle power washer, my last one was basically a toy in comparison, it has a dipstick and takes 15w40 engine oil...requires an annual oil change apparently. Now my question to the assembly, would using 5w40 full synthetic mean i can put it on long life -
