99 1.8 Engine oil & filter change question? - jp147
The garage did an oil and filter change but used 10W/40 oil instead of 5W/30.

They agreed to replace the oil with the correct 5W/30 type engine oil one day later.

I am not sure whether or not they used a new filter when they replaced the 10W/40 oil with 5W/30 or whether they kept the oil filter they fitted when they used 10W/40 oil to start with.

I had the oil changed on my Ford Focus last week and they used 10W/40 instead of 5W/30 so I went back a day later and they replaced it with the 5W/30.

They took only about half an hour to drain and refill the new oil. Do you think that they could have done this job in only half an hour or am I being too paranoid ?
