I've just been reading the Speeding thread. Speed is a factor in a large proportion of accidents, but it's not speed per se that's the problem. It's inappropriate driving behaviour, including failing to match speed to conditions (including the weather). How about compulsory re-testing? I'm unsure -

Hi, prob wrong here, did i see some where it is possible to change from a permanant 4x4 to 2 wheel drive?? if so how?? Never had a 4x4 before, love driving it, but a bit of a gas guzzler! so hoping to try and make petrol go a bit further :-) -
Corolla vvti aux drive belt whine 21 Apr 2005 (Forum)
My 1.4 Corolla has developed a whine fro the engine; according to the garage that checked it, due to the aux drive belt having some wear. Question - is it safe to continue running the engine ? They reckon the aux drive belt only connects the power steering pump and alternator. It's done 150K now. -
