  have a whistle from front left speaker, have changed speaker , battery, fitted inline suppressor, checked wiring , had auto ignition look over it , changed radio/cd unit 6006e, still there ?. any other things i can try , other than the alternator?. thanks..

  Need help please! I have a Peugeot 406 coupe 1999 2 litre and the diagnostic light comes on intermittently, the speedo and rev counter then go mad up and down and eventually go to zero, also the radio goes off and indicators do not work. Any ideas would be gratefully received.

  Has anybody managed to remove the head unit for this cd system? It has developed an intermittent loss of sound to one or both channels. Almost certainly a connector because radio is fine. It's OK first thing but fault develops after a couple of hours

  Hi its diesel with 215K on the clock and has recently developed a rattle between 1-2000 revs when accelerating in all gears, after 2000 it seems to disappear. Revving in neutral doesnt reproduce noise and its not rattling at tickover..just when under load. Fairly noticable with radio off as well
