Many Positives Not 5 Stars Though

I ordered this vehicle to replace my BMW 1 Series. I did want another BMW but dealers would not play ball on the price. The Volvo dealer was great from the outset and we agreed a deal very quickly. The only disappointment was the car was 6 weeks late against the original build / delivery date I was give. The car looks great, especially in the Osmium Grey and is extremely well built. I specified the winter pack as well and the heated front seats have come in very useful since the weather has turned. This is my first automatic and God only knows why I haven't had one before - it makes such a difference in commuter traffic. I agree with the others reviews that the steering is too light and it cetainly does not handle as well as the BMW though the ride is fractionally better. I had some concerns over the handbrake as it is set up for LHD but it is fine. The seats are fantastic - so comfortable. I am disappointed with the fuel economy so far particularly as I only run my cars on Shell V Power. The Volvo service packs are also poor value for money too - they wanted the best part of £900 for a three year servicing pack whereas I paid just £360 when I bought the 1 Series.
