Very good large 4x4
I bought this car as a 1-year old ex-demonstrator to replace an ageing (and very unreliable) SUV from a premium marque. So far I have been very pleased indeed with the car. It is well-made, spacious, refined and very comfortable on long journeys. What surprised me most was how nimble it is to drive compared with my previous car and how quick it is to pick up speed. I think that the more powerful engine variant (245ps as opposed to 204ps) probably makes quite a difference. It also looks very smart on the standard 20 inch wheels. I drove quite a few large SUVs before buying the Touareg and have found it to be a good choice in terms of value for money.
