Rock solid motoring
We initially bought a used Mazda 6, but my wife struggled with the clutch pedal so took it back to the dealer. He offered us this Avensis and neither of us were particularly enamoured by it. I hated driving it with the feather light steering and lack of feel, but it slowly grew on us. now, after four years and 40k miles, the car we bought with 95k on it is still going strong. We've spent no more than £100 a year to keep it on the road (MOT included) and it has never let us down. It's not exciting and it looks like a taxi, but it is a doddle to drive and you know it's going to get you where you're going.
