Splendid car with great stature and character.
I bought this car, ex-demo, as a replacement for a Mondeo Estate ( which I very much admired although, in petrol form, never grew to enjoy) So far, it has been an absolute joy. The CR 140 diesel is a little noisy at low speed. At other speeds, it's a very refined sounding and pulling engine. The ride is smooth up to a point, but I feel more bumps with the 18inch low profile tyres than the Mondeo.
However, it has loads of toys. The inside is cavernous and the whole feels incredibly solid and well built. Above all, it feels great behind the wheel. The seats are very comfortable, and I really like the half-leather upholstery.
This is a characterful car with plenty of grit when required and great poise behind the wheel.
