Outstanding Sleeper

Bought this car in 2020 and it’s our third Superb, having had a MKI and MKII. I knew the complete history of the car from a fellow member on the Briskoda forum, so had no concerns at all about buying it. I absolutely love this car; it’s quiet, very comfortable, has a huge boot and cabin with masses of legroom, especially for the rear passengers, is put together as well as it’s VW counterpart, has masses of useful kit and it’s fast…very fast, in fact it’s as quick as a MK7 Golf R. The only downside if I can call it that, especially now with the price of 99 Octane, is the urban MPG which averages 26 on my very short commute, however it will easily return 39 on the motorway. I’ve had only one issue which was a failed wheel speed sensor, which was diagnosed and rectified really quickly by our excellent Indy VAG specialist. As with many brands, the Skoda main dealer network has shrunk, is no longer Customer focused to the point of being disinterested. Oh, they’re ridiculously expensive too.
