Overall reliability

The modern day land barge: spacious, comfortable, convenient and fast.

Purchased from Skoda dealer, 3 years old with just over 5000 miles on (end of lease bargain).
Came well equipped with heated windscreen, heated auto-dimming and auto-dipping side mirrors with memory function, heated front and rear leather seats, front and rear sensors, dual climate control, 9.2in Columbus touch screen with satellite navigation, electric driver seat with memory function and lumbar support.
Very convenient extras such as the Auto-hold function, silky smooth 6 speed DSG and Adaptive Cruise Control that just transforms the driving experience especially when on motorways.
Plenty enough torque to get going, the engine gives out 220 bhp or 350Nm torque, more than enough for a FWD.
Different driving modes for different occasions; Eco, Normal and Sport, I leave it on Normal and drop down to Sport mode when needed.
Quiet, smooth and confident ride especially at motorway speeds.
Plenty of interior space and legroom to get comfortable with, for both driver and passengers.
The in car speakers are great, though models fitted with Canton are even better.
Safety is good too, with front assist, reverse maneuver braking and side and knee airbags.
The powered liftback looks better than the estate (in my opinion) and doesn't affect the boot space which swallows up anything you can throw at it.
Wish the model came with a rear view camera for a car of this size but it can be easily retrofitted.
Would have liked a heated steering wheel, ventilated seats and blind spot assist but these are just extras to what is already a fantastic car.
