Sublimely Comfortable

Bought my Moonstone 2.8 Tiptronic a year ago. 84000 kms . Previous and only owner had just spent $2600 NZD on the cam belt and water pump change. I've always admired this model and having owned various Skodas in the UK I snapped this up. I've not been disappointed.

Full dealer history (which I have continued) it has needed nothing apart from routine servicing. It's no sports car, granted, but competent on twisty roads, and extremely comfortable for my daily commute. The seats are supportive, everything beautifully made and rattle free.

I've owned 50 cars over the last 32 years, and this is by far one of the top 5.

The 2.8 V6 and 5 speed tiptronic is perfectly matched, and easily does 35 mpg on the motorway.

Fantastic, we'll built, comfortable car. Awesome and often overlooked.

10 out of 10 for "fitness of purpose"
