1.0 MPI 60 SE 5dr Hatchback

Great little car.

We paid £8,000 for this car with just a £99 deposit and thereafter £100 per month for 42 months @ 0%. Just made the final payment of £3,700. Free services for 3 yrs and AA cover inc European travel. The car has cost me for one headlight bulb to date having covered 22,000 miles.
It’s a very practical car with plenty of room. The rear seats fold flat if you need some decent space occasionally.
Early reviews of these cars warned of:
Noisy gearboxes - this one was slightly noisy in 2nd initially but that has quietened as it has run in.
Poor radio reception - true but traced this to the PID. Switch that off and radio fine.
Clicking clutch pedal - mine did that too occasionally but ceased after 18 months.
You do need to use the gears and wind it up on a long hill but it is only 60hp. It is a city car after all and not ideal for motorway work.
It’s been a great little car so far and I would have another one without hesitation.
It has air con, sat nav, EFW, trip computer, Bluetooth phone and media. Over 60 mpg on a run and 50mpg round town. Cracking little car for the money.
