An excellent economical workhorse, satisfyingly sporty to drive

Although this is the 3 cylinder diesel eco version it has a very satisfying engine note when driven hard. It reminds me of my Porsche 924 aurally. The car is not exceptionally fast, but it is adequate for all types of UK driving and has been exceptionally economical. It is a relaxed long distance cruiser, rather than a "Grand Tourer" No problems to date though it has been greedy with Brake pads. I usually manage to get between 30 and 40 thousand miles from a set and this car got through them in 18000. I suspect that is because the small light 3 cylinder engine offers little in the way of engine braking. Even the basic model is overloaded with gadgets and I was forced into air conditioning as there was going to be a long wait for a non air-con car. I have used it only on a couple of occasions over the last 3 years and next time I would not bother with it.
On the plus side none of the electronic toys have broken down yet.
