One of the best cars I've ever had, surprisingly!

My old car was costing me a fortune in repairs, and when the turbo failed, I decided to throw in the towel! I needed a car quickly and saw this car for under £3000 sitting in a forecourt. It drove well on the test drive and had loads of room for the family, so we bought it.

I drive around 60 miles on my daily commute, either motorways or winding country roads depending on the route I take. I find this car a real pleasure to drive. It soaks up bumps extremely well and also handles beautifully. I have a 1.6 petrol and it has plenty of speed when you need it.

On a work run it gives around 42mpg and around 48mpg on the motorway. This does drop to around 32 mpg if only driven around town. In less than a year I've covered around 18k and I've not had a single problem! The car uses no oil or water in general use that I can measure. I just change the oil as required by the service schedule. I only needed some tyres due to my high mileage and these were cheap too.

The interior is very roomy. I'm 6ft 3" and I don't even need the drivers seat all the way back. The rear seat is great. it can be moved forward or back to either give more legroom or a bigger boot space. when back, it gives rear passengers limo like legroom, so the kids love it!

Would I buy another? Without a doubt. A superb car!
