Renault Clio (2013 - 2019)
Dynamique S MediaNav ENERGY TCe 90 Stop and Start 5dr Hatchback
Excellent supermini
Again this is my wife's company car and we had a good budget to play with so I maxed the car out, R link, Panoramic glass roof, alloys etc. If there was an option available I ticked the box.
OK so far its clocked up 5000 miles, a combination of hard motorway driving and A roads. I never thought I'd actually like a Renault but I do, the styling is fantastic and the big logo on the nose adds to its uniqueness.
Its a pleasure to drive and you can get 4.5l/100km or 63 mpg without having to drive it like funeral car. Its great on long journeys, the back seats are surprisingly comfortable, we had 4 people in the car and the rear seats are elevated offering a good view of the road ahead and the centre consul.
The big screen for the sat nav is excellent.
The R link has yet to deliver, Renault need a killer app and it has yet to appear.
Climate control, Renault you need to do some work here, in Auto its hardly seems to do anything, if you want to heat the car up quickly you crank the fan up in manual, also it cant cope with four adults in auto, windows start to steam up so again manual control.
Other niggles, well the switch for the cruise control / speed limiter is down by the handbrake, tricky to find when your driving,
But this is a minor issue in what is a very good stylish car. Its early days so I'll keep you posted.
