Warranty recall driveshaft
Purchased top of the range Hybrid 4 300bhp 71 plate from Motorpoint Swansea.,March 24.
At no point was I made aware there was a recall on this car on 10/06/24 the driveshaft went on it and to date it is still at Peugeot dealership having the issue sorted, extremely slowly!
The cost of the repair I am informed would be £2000 which includes 13 hrs of labour. Only lucky the 3 yr Peugeot Warranty covers this!
Should this have gone wrong after 3 years of registration then that unknown issue would be my bill.
Sadly am informed Car Supermarkets do not by law have to check recalls on cars so I will not be using them again ridiculous rule all recalls should be checked prior to sale
