Reliable car

had the 13 plate micra visia for over 5 years 9 months and has been a great little car. Done over 50,000 miles. Apart from oil changes every year the car has been reliable. Have saved money by sanding down a lip on the front brake discs as still on the original pads. Also still on original discs and battery and exhaust.. Also had an intermittent problem with the radiator fan coming on when wet weather. However a spray of WD40 onto the sensor at the rear of the radiator has cured this on the 3 times this has happened. The clutch pedal is very stiff to operate, though it works perfectly. the car is easy to drive and has a small turning circle. Mileage is between 48mpg to 53mpg on a daily 25 mile drive. Seats are comfy and no back pain so far. Has a decent size boot, 300 litres but not enough cubby holes inside the car. Overall great mpg on long journeys and good value for money. Also only £30 road tax.
