car has some good features and to be fair is comfortable on a long run and roomy in the back. Boot space is fairly pathetic for a car of its size but this is due to the batteries, electric motor and very small fuel tank.
Entertainment screen resets for no apparent reason when driving and sometimes the screen shows up but the radio is totally silent. This can be cured by pulling over , switching the car off and starting again ( bit like a windows PC).
Also had the excitement of the lane assist getting stuck on which was interesting but again cleared by a reset of vehicle. Radar controlled cruise control so far is good and makes an easy drive. The amount of warnings the car gives you gets annoying, 360 camera is very good.
Biggest issue so far is that the heater does not heat up and the AC does not get cold.I had the car for two months and it has now been in the garage for 6 weeks. New heater installed which i am told works OK but now needs new AC compressor which are out of stock and on back order which may take 3 months to fulfil.Dealer will not give the car back as apparently it has been stripped ready for the part. Apparently the engineers contacted their support teams who mentioned that they have had the same issues on other vehicles. Luckily i have been given a hire car by work as the MG dealer does not provide courtesy cars. Had i bought this i would now be without a car. Lease company told me today that they have removed MG from their portfolio due to ongoing issues with cars and customer service which is not a good sign. I will be looking to return the vehicle and replace it with a better vehicle. Unfortunately when i ordered it there was only 5 different cars to choose from and the waiting time on the others was too long. MG promised a 6 week delivery when i ordered it and it arrived 9 months later.
