MG HS (2020 on)
1.5 T-Gdi Exclusive DCT 5dr
Pleasantly Surprised!!
I purchased my MG HS in November 2022 and was a little skeptical as MG is still unknown in its current guise, manufacturing family SUV's. I had carried out lots of research before the purchase (probably more so than I have ever done before).
I have to say after owning the car for just over 3 months I am pleasantly surprised. I have had no issues at all. The car has loads of kit as standard, lots of safety kit with a 5 star NCAP rating, has an large airy cabin that is nicely finished. Ive found the ride to be relatively poised (as long as you don't push the car too hard) and long motorway journeys have so far been relatively quite and comfortable.
For such a competitively priced car I'm surprised that it ticks a lot of boxes for me and my family.
The only gripes I have is that the fuel economy could be slightly better, however I knew before purchasing that the MPG is low....after all the car is nearly 2ton, and the infotainment screen on a rare occasion can be a little laggy but not to the point of causing frustration. I will update this review as I go on with the car and even if its not on your list just go and have a look at one.... like me you might be surprised!!
