Nearly a great car but has a few niggles which need sorting out

Having had 4 Mazda 6's as my last 4 cars, I am used to the good build quality and performance from them. The CX-5 is no exception and is better than the 6's I have had in terms of refinement and quietness. It is my first car of this type (SUV or Xover) and I must say that it is wonderful to drive. The technology in the car is excellent and the leather seats are very comfortable. I was advised that the rude would be a little hard but I have not found that to be the case and the handling is amazingly good for the type of vehicle - better than could be expected really.

Now the bad news - the most annoying of which is the rattling dashboard, especially when it is cold. The forum is full of people with the same problem but Mazda deny there is an issue! Also, I have had the problem with rising oil levels in the sump - a function of the wonderful DPF which had supposedly been sorted - again, denied by Mazda. Finally, the mpg is quoted as being around 60 but so far I am struggling to achieve better than 44, though there are only around 3000 miles on the clock so far.
