Refined, sporty, economical; a lovely driving experience

This is a lovely car to drive and to own. It is economical and superbly put together - the BMWs, Mercs and Audis I owned previously didn’t approach this perceived level of integrity and solidity. It has every gizmo going and the moans about the infotainment system are overstated. It is easy enough to get used to unless you wish to do some some fiddly satnav searching on the move - in which case you probably aren’t looking at the road. It also allows Apple Car Play so many people would want to use that by default. I wouldn’t consider it a family car as the boot is too small, but for singles or couples this is an ideal size for town driving and it is surprisingly refined on motorways and A roads with none of the CVT whine that appears to have bothered reviewers of earlier Lexus models. Absolutely the nicest car I have ever owned.
