Kia Cee'd (2007 - 2010)
1.6 CRDi LS 5dr Hatchback
After early niggles, good reliable car, Servicing dealer very good if expensive
Purchased from Tates Kia in May 2009. It had just over 10k on the clock and was an approved used model. Paid £9k for this including 2 years breakdown, 3 years IFC and the 7 year warranty back up. Early issues diesel fuel filter light came on new sensor fitted by Tates, Car key kept loosing sync so it wouldnt start car Tates unable to solve as this was intermittent. WLMG sorted this second time by replacing key. Flickering rear light solved by new switch by WLMG Ruislip. Front drivers seat kept loosing height new mechanism ordered and fitted by Tates. Overall would rate WLMG Ruislip as excellent Tates only average. The car for the last two years has been trouble free and I would rate was a great buy my first diesel. Reasonable radio. No rattles but noisy turbo been told this is normal. Economy is very good if driven with gentle care you can get 65mpg (when I drove to Yorkshire). Around town about 45mpg. Car still worth about £4,200. Pathetic climate control seems to have a mind of its own. A bit of wind noise on the motorway but I would recommend. Considering the new diesel Ceed or i30.
