Gorgeous to drive but too painful to drive far

There appears to be a bar across the bottom of the seat at the back.

I have had to buy a sheet of 25mm sponge and a seat cover, zero the lumbar support, pitch the seat down from front to back with the back set slightly forward so that my bum doesn't actually come in contact with the bar. A very awkward way to drive.

My wife has the same problem with the seats, so she wont go in it any more. We use her Lexus RX 400h when we are together.

Jaguar say there is nothing wrong with the seats and I am surprised not to have seen more complaints from drivers.

I put up with because I enjoy the car itself
