The best family car I've ever owned - I love it

I've owned and driven a lot of cars over the last 30+ years, but this is my favourite family car by far. It's refined and enjoyable to drive, with brilliant steering, hugely practical boot space, good performance and surprisingly reasonable fuel economy. One year of ownership so far and I still take the extra time to find the best possible parking spaces and look back at it once it's parked.
I have the electrically deployable towbar and tow a 1600kg caravan which it does brilliantly, with secure, stable handling and plenty of performance for hill launches and motorway grades. The AWD is just superb on mixed surfaces and with winter tyres it handled snow without any slip at all.
The petrol engines have been under-rated versus their more popular diesel counterparts for some reason, but the petrol Ingenium 2.0 is a really excellent choice and works well with the 8spd auto - select Sport and Dynamic modes and it's surprisingly fun on the twisties too.
Comfortable interior, Meridian sound and Android auto touchscreen just complete the enjoyment for me. I'd only replace this car with another F-Pace when the time comes.
