It’s allright

I was given this car as an insurance courtesy car from a well known car hire company after an eastern european lorry driver decided my Mk7 golf looked better with a hole in the side. First impressions were the absolutely awful interior i had a vauxhall corsa-d with a better quality interior than this car has and it’s absolutely years behind the VW which is 4 years older than this Hyundai. But it’s not all negative :-

It looks good in fact i really like the looks
31 mpg is ok for it’s size
easy to drive automatic with a “searchy” but smooth transmission
decent infotainment and radio
massive boot
ok to drive in general

If you’re looking for a decent family s.u.v. i would recommend one of these ive been impressed by it in the 8 days ive had it but i miss the comfort and fit and finish of the Golf, i will also not miss the pointless “wiper on 1” message that appears on the dashboard every time you switch the intermittent’s on or the rear wiper that also has a similarly annoying message. Other then that it’s a GOOD CAR!
