Overall reliability

Great looks, comfortable and more gadgets than you can shake a stick at

My test drive of a new Tucson convinced me that this is a leap ahead of the ix35 and I put my hard earned cash down and it arrived this week. Jumped in it and drove 200 miles. 38mpg achieved on this run so I have hopes of 40 mpg when it is fully run in and I have put Slick 50 in the engine.
So far so good. Everything works and I find it very comfortable (I am 6 ft tall). The sat nav is easy to set up and the quality of the audio certainly good enough for my cloth ears but possibly not up to audiophile quality.
This car is only one step away from not needing a human to drive. It is packed with features like lane assist, blind spot warning and electronic hand brake. I have yet to try the parking assistance modes.
The sunroof is awesome and really makes the car interior light and airy.
The only thing that I have added is a Viofo A119 dash cam.
Overall very pleased with the latest horseless carriage and I look forward to many years of comfortable, safe and trouble free journeys.
