long wait for basic spare parts
No problems until 2 weeks ago when after only 4000 miles the rear break calliper locked on and the car had to be transported to the nearest dealer at great inconvenience to me even though a hire car was arranged. I was told that the part was not a stock item and would be placed on a back order with the date being at least 3 weeks away!! After contacting hyundai customer services they confirmed that this part failure is well known but did not answer the important question put to them which is why a critical break part on a new car should fail and that being the case , why is there not a stock pile in Europe for a modified part. A re call on these cars should be done now as a matter of urgency.
