Excellent small car for the money
Bought this car with over 15000 miles on the clock. Paid just over £4600 for it + a part ex vehicle. Small compact with good BHP, generous boot size and spare wheel.
Had 2 years left on the warranty. Had issues with the rear drivers side brake caliper seizing for the first 2 years. No other faults. Garage decided I needed a new rear drivers side caliper just 2 weeks after its warranty ran out after it had seized for the 6th time. Annoying. Would have been covered under warranty, lesson learnt - don't trust Arnold Clark garage. Car has run very well, fab fuel consuption very easy to drive, no other issues other than regular checking of brakes twice a year and the normal wear and tear.
Issues - 2022 rust under car. I live in Scotland, lots of snow and ice and grit, I travel regularly on a building site route so I'm not sure if the rust issue is due to this or not. Just over 78000 miles now and I am looking for my next car. Next car will be under sealed. Would I buy this car again -YES.
Great small car for city or motorway driving. 3 door probably not a good option for those wanting to travel with more than 2 people on regular journeys.
