Quiet, Comfortable and Suprisingly Speedy

Have now had the car for 10 months and nothing has required attention so far. Is coming up to first service which is covered by the 5 year £500 service deal.

Have been surprised by compliments about comfort in the car, even with two large gents sitting in the rear. Interior is too black and needs brightening up, even some lighter door panels would do. More upmarket trim would also help.

Beware if you need to change the low beam headlight bulbs as visibility and accessibility at the rear of each bulb is non existent.

The subwoofer in the boot is a waste of a speaker since it's plastic housing is in no way rigid enough.

Performance is good with a surprising turn of speed once the revs cause the timing to change at about 4,000 revs. Happily, and quietly revs to 6,000 revs in auto.Very quiet in town with the low engine noise due probably to it's very smooth running.

Am getting about 35mpg, mostly on short journeys. Have beaten 40mpg on long journeys.

The boot is roomy and the Magic Seats are brilliant.

Always enjoy driving my Civic and my wife is very happy in the passenger seat.
