Great family car

I've had this car for 18 months / 25000 miles and had no problems whatsoever apart from a faulty connection for the keyless ignition at the clutch pedal when it was a month old - fixed under warranty and no problems since. Average 42mpg on mixed B-road / dual carriageway for commuting, and approx 39 mpg on a motorway run (300 miles but that's with a surfboard and a bike on the roof rack, averaging approx 85 mph). The inside is cavernous - tonnes of luggage room with the rear two seats down, and when you put all 5 down its basically a small van.

Extremely quiet at motorway speeds, we can chat to our little one in the rear seats without raising voices at all. The seven seats come in extremely handy although the rear two are for short people or short journeys only. Its very comfortable, I can happily drive 300 miles without stopping and feel very fresh when I get out at the other end.

Front tyres almost gone at 25000 miles and I would say I drive fairly enthusiastically.

Parking it is a nightmare though - if you can't get a "parent and child" parking space (and when can you?!) then you have no chance of getting a child out of a child seat if there are cars parked both sides of you. The parking sensors are a must, but as long as you have them physically getting the thing into a space once you've found one big enough is easy.

And its great fun to drive - plenty of poke to overtake Sunday drivers when required and feels very assured around corners.
