A bit of a Marmite car
Knowing the Fiesta was about to be discontinued I bought this as a bit of a "last fling"". (My first Fiesta was in 1980.)
My previous Fiesta was a Mk 8 ST-Line X and this has a notably poorer specification (a list would fill a sheet of A4) but actual build quality seems decent after almost 2 years.
Performance and handling are as good as expected. Ride, as anticipated, is firm but acceptable on the whole though poor surfaces take their toll. The seats are very good. The level of road noise is however excessive particularly on "surface dressed" roads which unfortunately predominate in my.
Everyday practicality is limited slightly by the poor steering lock which hampers ease of parking.
