Workhorse

Bought with 60k on the clock, now has 97k.

Usage - commuting, holidays and trips to parents and friends. Tried to avoid short trips to protect the diesel engine. Occasional towing of a trailer tent.

Pros - plenty of space. Can remove one to 3 of the rear seats to free up even more space and turn it into a van. Excellent performance from the 2 liter diesel and good driving dynamics. Decent fuel economy as well. Extremely reliable so far, in 97k and 12 years the only major issue was the started motor going before we got it.

Minor issues - top and bottom engine covers have fallen off, clock keeps resetting, bit of air getting into fuel system, blown fuses. Not much considering the age.

Cons - Not a 7 seater. Can't see computer display because it's so low down. Gets through front tires very quickly.

Overall probably the best car we have had. Just about to go in for the timing belt replacement, hope it'll be ok for another couple of years.
