Dacia Logan MCV (2013 - 2019)
Ambiance 1.5 dCi 90 5dr Estate
Great car for the money
Before I bought the Logan I had a Peugeot 308, but found the boot too small even with
the seats down.I've driven diesels for years,so decided to take a test drive in the 1.5dci. The first thing you notice about the Logan MCV is it's size.Even with the seats up the boot is enormous.Put the seats down and there's plenty of room for 2 people to
sleep in if desired .I went for the Ambiance model, because it has less electronic stuff
on it to go wrong. Am quite happy with manual mirrors and electric windows at the front.
It has a reasonable radio with cd.usb. aux.Only 2 speakers in front doors, but sound
quality is OK.Being over 6ft was a bit worried driving position. No problem, plenty of
room.Drives very well with plenty of power when needed. The gear ratio's are quite high.
Most of the time driving around town you're lucky to get into 4th. 5th gear motorways
only. But saying that I'm getting between 50-60mpg. And the engine's not run in yet. There is also no road tax to pay either which is great.Would definitely recommend

Update May 2021
Have had this car over 6 years now, still think it's a great car. Now I'm retired I don't do the miles anymore. But every weekend I take it down the motorway for about 30 miles to keep the DPF clean. It's been a very reliable car. Only one problem the alternator packed up after 2 years, but had this replaced under warranty. Usual wear and tare items replaced, brake discs and pads on the front. Oil and filters twice a year. And that's i.t Can't see me changing it in the near future. Still a great car for the money.
