Overall reliability

Brilliant, quiet car with huge size and value

Brought 31st March brand new just before the price increase.
Dealer was offering £750 discount and free 5 year warranty.
I opted for the media nav system and 4 year servicing deal.

I then got another £300 off the price when I asked the dealer if they could match the offers I had lined up on Car Wow.

Took two weeks for delivery and I am really impressed.

The revised model (around 2014 I believe) has ESP as standard now and Dacia have listened to customers complaints / suggestions.
Gone is the annoying wind chime sound about 60mph (redesigned roof bars). (Test drove an older demo Duster).
Amazingly quiet to drive. So the car comes across as being refined.
It's only when understeer kicks in that I am reminded it's a big car.
The engine pulls really well (192 Ft / Lb torque) even in 6th gear.
Very relaxed drive as the turbo comes in at 1,400 rpm.
Seating is very comfy.

The dealer experience was less so.
I had to go to three dealers before I found a brilliant dealership that answered every question and was very professional..... and actually wanted to sell me the car.

The whole overall package is very well done but most people will not look past the badge. shame really as Dacia are really on to something here

When I picked up the car I found out it also has hill start assist and full RAC cover fro 3 years.

So 5 year warranty, full RAC membership for 3 years and 4 year servicing is hopefully a hassle free car for the next few years.

Friends and family have looked over the car and one is even looking into buying one.
That's the thing. look past the badge and have an open mind. you will be impressed.
