Very Poor Quality Paintwork ruins an otherwise practical and economical car

I really like the car but I'm appalled at the fact that it is rusting within 6 months of purchase from new. Dealers are only offering to treat affected areas but there are reports of further areas developing rust as the vehicle gets older.

Dacia seem reluctant to release paint thickness specifications but paint seems thin on all panels and no word yet on whether future rust issues will be covered by 2 year paintwork warranty or on 6 year anti-perforation warranty.

If you can find one without rust then they are a practical and economical family car.

Don't bother with the armrest it gets in the way of the driver seat recliner adjustment and handbrake.
