Citroen C4 Picasso (2007 - 2013)
1.6HDI VTR+ semiauto
Easy to get in and drive
For
Easy to get in the front and back, [it seems to have slightly higher sills than the Xsara Picasso,so not as good if you have bad knee's]. Easy to drive-no problem getting used to the handbrake or gears[with one exception, see below], the steering wheel hub is so convenient to use, why has Citroen not used it in the new C4. Very good Motorway car, eats miles, how do they get that from a 1.6 Diesel? A class above the Xsara Picasso in quality. That windscreen. The car has been reliable.
Against
Slightly dissapointing fuel consumption against our previous Xsara Picasso with the same engine. Tight parking spaces are best avoided, as to get the car going You have to press the thottle. A diesely noise when driving slow. Worried about the clutch, but I live in a rural location. The engine, will it last, so much performance from a small unit. That windsreen [how expensive].
