535D M Sport LCI 4dr F10

I made the best decision.

I spent 6 months looking at used cars while waiting for the money. I narrowed my choice down to an LCI F10 because it had all the bits I wanted.

I’ve owned it for just over the years now and haven’t had any problems apart from an EGR cooler recall.

The styling is just beautiful. Mine is a silver M Sport+ so it has the little spoiler on the boot. The paintwork after being washed still looks like new.

The 535D engine makes me smile all the time. In Sport mode it just pulls forever. I have had 50mpg in eco mode on a long motorway trip but it averages about 32mpg in comfort mode with the occasional sport mode fun.

I’ve put about 25,000 miles on it and every one was fun. It’s only 53,000 miles now so still plenty to go.

The quality of the interior is great. Feels top notch. The audio system with a decent source sounds fantastic.

There are a lot of similar cars on the road but not so many 535D versions.

Insurance group for this is 45 so is quite high. My age, no claims bonus and postcode help to keep the premium affordable. Because it is a Euro 6 engine, the road tax is reasonable too.

I’m really happy with my choice and can’t think what other car I would want to change it for.
