Roomy, comfortable drive, decent mpg but a few niggles
Bought this as a replacement for another Active Tourer that was written off when hit by a lorry. Even though it was written off still felt safe and a solid build.
This one has 50,000 miles on the clock and averaging 53mpg on mainly motorway drives.
Very comfortable on long drives and a decent amount of kit. As its the M version the suspension is a bit hard especially when hitting potholes.
Had one set of brake pads and one set of new tyres in that time.
Idrive that conttrols music, sat nav and bluetooth failed. BMW replaced the drive under warranty only for it to fail again two months later. This time they updated the software and its hopefully fixed this time.
