Audi A7 Sportback (2011 - 2018)
3.0 TDI 272 Quattro SE Executive S tronic 5dr
Superb car, comfortable, powerful and yet economical
I would recommend this car to anyone wanting a comfortable, spacious, powerful and yet surprisingly economical hatchback. I bought this car from a private seller who has had 3 or 4 A7s in the past and he commented that he would never have anything other than the 19" wheels on an A7 without air suspension. The ride is quite firm but it is still very comfortable especially as a cruiser. I tend to drive it quite gently and on a journey can easily get 44+ mpg although my average is just under 40 as I do a lot of short journeys. My car has the head-up display which I wouldn't bother with if it wasn't already fitted and it tends to have a small buzz of vibration from the reflector which is a bit annoying. I had mine remapped to 320bhp which may have made the mpg better than usual but for a combination of power and economy I reckon it's hard to beat. If you push it it will do 0-60mph in around 5.5 seconds which is plenty fast enough for me! The only thing that I find really annoying is that the adblu lid needs the wheel brace to unscrew it which seems totally unnecessary as it means opening the boot and removing the spare just to fill something that could be unscrewed by hand - maybe Audi have a valid reason for this. It's a minor thing and only occurs every now and then as adblu lasts for a while but just a niggling annoyance. The front windows are double glazed and sound insulation is good and overall ride is very smooth and quite.
