2.0 TDI (140ps) S tronic 5dr Hatchback S-line

Competent but a little bland.

Hard to fault as a sensible choice. It's well built, effective, economical and has that all important premium badge everyone craves. No handling vices and all the gadgets you could want yet somehow manages to be utterly dull into the bargain.  Really needs to be the 170ps version which is quick enough to be fun but similar mpg. 
S-tronic auto box however is utterly fantastic and every car should have one. Seamlessly picks the right gear every time (well almost...) and superb for drama free but quick take offs from busy t junctions in the rain. Worth every penny of the extra cost.
