Ineos unveils Grenadier Quartermaster pick-up
Ineos has revealed the Grenadier Quartermaster pickup which is available to order now with prices starting at £66,215.
Based on the Ineos Grenadier Station Wagon, the Grenadier Quartermaster has a longer wheelbase, boasting a strong and rigid box-section ladder frame chassis that is 305mm longer.
This gives it a load bay measuring 1564mm in length and 1619mm in width, providing ample room to comfortably carry a standard Euro pallet.
It's powered by BMW's 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines, paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Standard features include a centre differential lock and a two-speed transfer case (with optional front and rear diff locks).
The pick-up rides on heavy-duty five-link front and rear suspension, Carraro-supplied solid beam axles, powerful Brembo brakes and a recirculating ball steering system.
With a payload capacity of 760kg, the Grenadier Quartermaster is equipped with the same 3500kg towing capacity as the Grenadier Station Wagon.
It can accommodate five occupants alongside their bulkiest of loads and the pick-up features four tie-down rings in the load space, with optional Utility Rails, a 400W power take-off, an integrated mounting bar and a tailgate that can support up to 225kg when open.
Ground clearance is 264mm with an 800mm wading depth, and approach, breakover, and departure angles unmatched by any other series production pick-up, according to Ineos.
The model line-up of the Quartermaster will mirror that of the Station Wagon, featuring standard, Trialmaster, and Fieldmaster trims, all carrying the commercial N1 vehicle classification in the EU.
Buyers can choose from a robust frame and waterproof canvas canopy or a lockable roller tonneau cover, while there's also a roof rack with various mounts for items like jerry cans, sand ladders and shovels.
