What SUVs come with a torque convertor automatic gearbox?
Are there any 6 to 7 year old midsize petrol SUVs that have a proper torque converter auto box?

You'll need to avoid most options from the VW Group brands (VW, Skoda, Audi, Seat), as the automatic option in each will be a dual-clutch gearbox, while a lot of the Japanese brands will generally favour a continuously variable transmission or CVT. Mazda is an exception, so the Mazda CX-5 could be worth a look. For a more premium option, you could consider a BMW X1.
