Can I tow with a Mercedes convertible?
I have a 2015 Mercedes E350 Convertible. I am able to find a lot of conflicting information about the towing ability and capacity of my car, but nothing definitive. I am looking at towing a double axle caravan with a weight of up to 2000kg.

Information would suggest that the maximum braked towing capacity for this vehicle is 1800kg, but you can check this by looking at the vehicle information plate which is usually on the driver's door jamb. This should provide the gross train weight, which is the legal maximum weight of the car fully-loaded plus a fully-loaded trailer, and if a gross train weight is not provided then the vehicle is not suitable for towing.
