Hyundai has unveiled the revised Hyundai i20, featuring a refreshed design and new technology.
The updated Hyundai i20 gets a revised front bumper and radiator grille, a redesigned rear bumper and a fresh rear light design. There are also new 16-inch and 17-inch alloy wheel designs.
Three new paint colour options are also available. Lucid Lime Metallic, Lumen Grey Pearl and Meta Blue Pearl. Returning colours include Atlas White, Phantom Black Pearl, Aurora Grey Pearl, Dragon Red Pearl, and Mangrove Green Pearl. There's also the option of a black two-tone roof.
Power comes from a 1.0 T-GDi engine available in two power outputs: 100PS or 120PS. Buyers can choose between a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT) or a six-speed Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT).
Inside, there is improved interior lighting with LED technology and multicoloured ambient lights, plus the option of a Bose Premium Sound System.
The 2023 Hyundai i20 is equipped with a 4.2-inch LCD cluster, USB type-C, second-generation eCall based on the 4G network, and Over-the-Air (OTA) map updates.
Features from the previous version, such as the optional 10.25-inch cluster and display screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless device charger and Bluelink telematics, have been retained.
The Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) system now includes 'Cyclist' detection in addition to 'City', 'Interurban', and 'Pedestrian' detection.
UK specification and pricing for the new Hyundai i20 is yet to be confirmed.
